Worship
Advent Vespers
(First Sunday of Advent)
Come and prepare for Christmas through the beautiful scriptures, hymns and special music of Advent. Hear the music of the Grace Choir, Bells of Grace and organ. Experience the peace of the Advent season at the service and the fellowship of visiting and eating "Treats from Around the World" in Koinonia Hall following the service.
Volunteers are needed to bring an ethnic dish (Swedish meatballs, tacos, rice pudding, etc.) or an appetizer or dessert to share after the service.

Worship Style
Our style of worship is primarily traditional with occasional experiences of Polka, Bluegrass, and Ole Tyme Gospel, and messages that relate the Gospel to the lives of all who gather.
Family-friendly worship services are held Sundays (Sept.-May) at 8:45 and 10:15 a.m. (The Nursery is staffed during both worship services to provide child care.) June, July and August our Sunday service meets at 9:30 a.m.
Sept.-May our Wednesday evening worship service is held 5:45-6:30 p.m.. During summer months (June, July, August) our worship service is held at 7:00 p.m. The summer's weekly worship/music experience happens under the leadership of Pastor John Matthews and pianist John Koziol. Each year we will focus on the "Spirituality in Music" of a particular artist. During June we will feature the music of Carole King, U2, Johnny Cash and George Gershwin.
Sponsors for these marvelous evenings are needed; financial gifts of $400 constitute sponsorship for one evening. Talk with John Koziol or Pat Johnson in the office if you desire to sponsor a particular evening. Thanks (ahead) to all who have, and will, sponsor a midweek musical service at Grace! (The Nursery will not be staffed for child care.)
Kids ages 3 to 103 will enjoy these worship times; everyone will feel Christ's presence in the music, liturgies, prayers and sermons. As it is said, 'It takes a village to raise a child,' and our 'village' here at Grace has something for everyone!
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sunday and the following Wednesday.
