Stewardship Giving Opportunities

Simply Giving:  Simply Giving Individual Enrollment Form  (in pdf)

Simply Giving is a program designed to help you conveniently support "God's work with our hands" at Grace Lutheran Church.  Through Simply Giving, your contributions are made through pre-authorized electronic withdrawal of funds from your bank account.  You determine the frequency of your gifts--weekly, semi-monthly or monthly.  Your payment is deposited into Grace's bank account on the same day it is withdrawn from your account, at no cost to you or Grace.  Your participation in Simply Giving can be started or stopped at any time.  Currently, the entire program is underwritten by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Simply Giving allows you to give consistently each week throughout the year, whether you are here, or not able to be here due to sickness, business or vacations.

To participate, simply pick up a form at our Welcome Center, or download the Simply Giving Individual Enrollment Form (in pdf) from our website.  If you have any questions, please contact Joni Baldwin in our Finance Office, 952-432-7273.

Now, you also have the option of making on-line credit/debit card contributions.  Contributions can be made to the following funds:

• General Fund
• Building Fund
• Endowment Fund
• Memorial Fund
• SummerConcert Series
• Sustaining the Ministry
• Dreaming the Future

To contribute on line, click on the Vanco Web Donation Payment Page.  When contributing on line, you will receive an e-mail receipt with a confirmation number.  The Accounting Office will receive a detailed report of all transactions and will forward specific information to those program areas that need to track contributions and registration fees.

Stock Gifts:

Yet another way to support the ministries of Grace Lutheran Church is the gifting of appreciated stocks or bonds.  The IRS allows the direct transfer of stock to the church, allowing the donor to deduct the value of the stock as a donation on your tax return.  The church can sell the stock with no tax consequences.

All you need to do to transfer stock is call our Finance Office, 952-432-7273, and we can give you the information on how to make this donation.
