Endowment Fund

The Grace Endowment Fund was founded in 1996 to build the congregation's ministry in service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A gift to the Grace Endowment Fund is a gift for all time. It is a magnificent, thoughtful and caring way to remember a loved one, mark an occasion or event, honor those around you, or simply give glory to God.

The Endowment Fund holds gifts in perpetuity, providing much needed funds through the earned income on the investment of these funds. This ensures that your gift helps in service to God not only today, but for generations to come.

The Endowment Fund permits existing programs to be expanded and new programs to be developed as needs arise in such areas as: education, youth activities, music, and outreach ministry. The Fund also provides for capital expenditures ensuring future growth for our church.

A sample language for including the Grace Lutheran Church Endowment Fund in your will is offered below:

"I bequeath X% of my estate to Grace Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, located at 7800 W County Road 42, Apple Valley, MN  55124."

Bequests can also be: a specific dollar amount or a specific asset.

A donor may wish to establish a Designated Purpose Fund in their name or in the name of a loved one.  The purposes of the Fund must be consistent with the goals and mission of the Endowment Fund and the initial contribution must be no less than $5000.
